The focus of our seminar is to find the eye of the storm in the midst of the hurricane of life. I Peter 5:10b talks about being restored, supported and strengthened through our Lord Jesus Christ. We will be focusing not only finding that restoration, support and strength in our own lives but also discovering more ways to bring into the lives of our churches, community and world. Healthy church workers leads to healthy churches. Healthy churches leads to a healthier society. The focus of this health is in Christ and His Word healing our lives changing the world through people like us. This will be a time of being restored, supported and strengthened.

Pastor Jon Bjorgaard is a 1986 graduate of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He has served as Assistant Pastor at Hope Lutheran in Rochester, New York (1986-1988); Senior Pastor at Grace Lutheran Church and School in Sandy, Utah (1988-1995); Director of Ministries at Christ Lutheran Church and School in Phoenix, Arizona (1995-1999); Director of Ministries at Shepherd’s Gate Lutheran in Shelby Township, Michigan (1999-2007); Director of Ministries at Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran in Scottsdale, Arizona (2007-2018) and currently is the Senior Pastor at Holy Cross Lutheran in Scottsdale, Arizona. Over the past three years, he has also been a pastoral coach and church consultant and worked directly with over 50 pastors and seminarians. God has gifted him in helping churches grow from mid-sized to over 800 in average worship attendance and aiding churches that are on the verge of closing to gain new life, direction and vision.
