Thailand Travel WARNING

Covid Entry Requirements for Thailand

New Covid entry requirements for Thailand could come into effect. Previously, international travelers to Thailand age 18 and older were required to have proof of having at least two Covid vaccinations, unless one of the exceptions applied. As of 09 January 2023, this is no longer the case.

However, travelers are required to have health insurance that covers COVID (which must meet specified requirements) if they are coming from or going to a country that requires an RT-PCR test. Travelers that develop COVID symptoms while traveling to Thailand shall be recommended for COVID testing on arrival in Thailand. In addition, there is random COVID testing for arriving international passengers. It's possible that testing positive for COVID on arrival in Thailand will result in a mandatory quarantine at the traveler's expense.

We partnered with Talent Trust to offer travel insurance that fulfills Thailand’s COVID requirements for only $15. Find out more here.
