Unpacking the Theme: Our Time is Now

As we live out God’s command to make disciples in all nations (Matthew 28:19; Acts 1:8), we are mindful of the troubled times in which we live and the urgency of God’s message of hope. We have a sense of urgency that, like Queen Esther, “our time is now” to act from our positions as sons and daughters of God. Will we speak up; will we step out in faith for God’s purposes and His Kingdom?

We have many challenges as individuals, as legal professionals, and as leaders in our communities and nations. Yet, our mission to make disciples and transform our communities, nations and the world through the power of the Holy Spirit never changes. Gathering together in Cambridge, our prayer is that we will grow closer to God and each other as we allow the Holy Spirit to transform our lives, our legal communities, our nations and the world. We will join together to:

• Connect

  with God and gain a deeper understanding of our identity in Christ;

• Grow

  and equip one another to reflect Christ in the way we practice law;

• Impact

  and challenge one another to be faithful witnesses for Christ within our legal communities and nations.
