REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED
While the National Day of Prayer will be observed as always, by law on the first Thursday of May, this year, we will be shifting from our traditional gatherings over several days in Washington D.C., to a broadcast/streaming only event. This will be done to honor public gathering requests. If gathering restrictions are lifted, we may reengage with plans for a more typical National Observance in Washington D.C.
We are saddened to have to cancel our activities in Washington D.C., but we know that this virus is affecting everyone, and your health and safety are our first concern. In addition, we know that you needed to make flight and hotel arrangements and needed to hear what we were planning with the information we have today. We will be engaging our Washington D.C. invitees to join us in special and significant online gatherings during the week that we would have gathered in Washington. Stay tuned for more details soon. The Willard Hotel has allowed us to postpone our contract and if you have made a reservation under our room block it will be canceled with no penalty to you.
We continue to monitor the situation and regulations surrounding the coronavirus and will be making decisions about our National Day of Prayer gatherings across America as we draw closer to May 7th. We continue to pray and plan on thousands of public, in-person gatherings, but will also have alternate plans on digital platforms if we are still in a restricted situation.
Please let us know if you have any questions at this time and know that we are continuing to pray for you, America, and the world as we battle this pandemic in prayer.
Serving Him with gladness,
NDP Task Force
